Joke of the Day
Science Lesson

Miss Jones had been giving her second-grade students a lesson on science. She had explained about magnets and showed how they would pick up nails and other bits of iron.
Now it was question time, and she asked, "My name begins with the letter 'M' and I pick up things. What am I?"
A little boy on the front row proudly said, "You're a mother!"

Why did George Washington chop down the cherry tree? I Don’t know, I'm stumped!

How do you make werewolf stew? Keep him waiting for two hours!

Joining the Army
As the family gathered for a big dinner together, the youngest son announced that he had just signed up at an army recruiter's office.

There were audible gasps around the table, then some laughter, as his older brothers shared their disbelief that he could handle this new situation. "Oh, come on, quit joking," snickered one. "You didn't really do that, did you?"

"You would never get through basic training," scoffed another.

The new recruit looked to his mother for help, but she was just gazing at him. When she finally spoke, she simply asked, "Do you really plan to make your own bed every morning?"

Spring Fever
Four high school boys afflicted with spring fever skipped morning classes. After lunch they reported to the teacher that they had a flat tire.

Much to their relief she smiled and said, "Well, you missed a test today so take seats apart from one another and take out a piece of paper."

Still smiling, she waited for them to sit down. Then she said: "First Question: Which tire was flat?"

World Records
First Person To Walk Around The World

The first verified walker was David Kunst who, from June 20, 1970, to October 5, 1974, walked 14,450 miles over four continents. Since completing the first verified walk around the earth Dave has been telling his World Walk Adventure Story at schools and clubs across the USA and Australia.

First To Walk To Both Poles
The first man to walk to both the North and South Poles was Robert Swan (UK). He led the three-man "In The Footsteps Of Scott" South Pole expedition in 1986, and three years later headed the eight-man "Icewalk" North Pole trek.
