Joke of the Day
Retirement 401K Advice

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49. With Enron stock, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000. With WorldCom stock, you would have had less than $5.00 left. Then who would pay for your Social Security? But, if you had purchased $1,000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment advice for today's seniors is to drink heavily and recycle. It's called the 401-Keg Plan.

The New Hearing Aid
Seems an elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, "Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again." To which the gentleman said, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!"

The chocolate covered peanuts
A guy goes to visit his grandmother and he brings his friend with him. While he's talking to his grandmother, his friend starts eating the peanuts on the coffee table, and finished them off. As they're leaving, his friend says to his grandmother, "Thanks for the peanuts." She says, "Yeah, since I lost my dentures I can only suck the chocolate off them."
