Joke of the Day
High-Tech
Three Ladies were in a hot tub-One German, One Japanese, and an American Hilbilly. Suddenly a beeping sound blared and the German woman pressed her forearm to stop the beeping. The others looked at her questioningly. "That was my pager", she said. "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm".A few minutes later, the phone rang. The Japanese woman lifted her palm to her ear and answered it. The other two woman gave her the same questioning look and she said, "That was my cell phone. I have a microchip in my hand". Well, the American hilbilly felt EXTREMELY low tech and not to be outdone by the other two, got out of the hot tub and went to the bathroom. When she came back, she had toilet paper hanging from her behind. "Look at that", she said. "I must be getting a FAX"!
Gathering Chickens
The farmer's son was returning from the market with the crate of chicken's his father had entrusted to him, when all of a sudden the box fell and broke open. Chickens scurried off in different directions, but the determined boy walked all over the neighborhood scooping up the wayward birds and returning them to the repaired crate. Hoping he had found them all, the boy reluctantly returned home, expecting the worst. "Pa, the chickens got loose," the boy confessed sadly, "but I managed to find all twelve of them." "Well, you did real good, son," the farmer beamed. "You left with seven."
